The Official STRIFE TV Mixtape by Dj Ethical

Our friend, DJ Ethical from TBB, made us our first ever official mixtape! I’ll say now that it is not your average mixtape. It is not a breakbeat mixtape. It is not a hip hop mixtape, either. It is a collection of all of our Strife.tv backgrounds. Therefore, you hear African songs, French songs, Korean songs, Japanese songs, and many more. From these tunes, you can get an idea where our creative influences come from.
So how did we come up with the tracklist? People like myself, Loan, KBE, MisLee, and others submitted our favorite tunes, and Ethical did his magic. We felt sorta bad for him at times because our tracklist was a little sporadic. But I think he made it work. Give it a listen. Enjoy the free download and Merry Christmas!

A Dj Ethical Classic!!!! Funk Yo Ride

This is my first funk mix ever around early 2000! I was mostly spinning dnb at the time. Dj Shadow & Cut Chemist inspired me to spin funk. This is the origin of my style now, way before bboy battles and serato(so this is all vinyl)! Its starts off slow but picks ups and good to ride too. *warning* This is also before I started rocking doubles but you can rock to it!
